（中央社華盛頓8日綜合外電報導）「紐約時報」今天報導，最新的衛星照片顯示，中國大陸似乎已在爭執的南海地區所控制的島嶼上興建強化飛機庫。
路透社報導，紐時引述華府戰略暨國際研究中心（CSIS）對這些照片的分析報告，照片在7月底拍攝時並未見到軍機，但這些機庫可容納大陸空軍的任何戰鬥機。
這些機庫是建在南沙群島的永暑礁、渚碧礁和美濟礁。大陸宣稱對大多數南海地區擁有主權。每年通過南海地區的船運貿易總值高達5兆美元。台灣、菲律賓、越南、馬來西亞和汶萊聲索的地區互相重疊。
在這些照片公布之前大約1個月，海牙國際仲裁法庭的裁決才否定大陸對資源豐富的整個南海地區的聲索，但大陸斷然拒絕這項裁決結果。
CSIS說，所有這些機庫都顯示建築結構加強的跡象。
CSIS 亞洲海事透明倡議（Asia MaritimeTransparency Initiative）主任波林（GregoryPoling）告訴紐時：「這些機庫比任何為民用目的興建的機庫要厚很多，它們經過強化後可以抵擋攻擊。」（譯者：中央社簡長盛）1050809

（中央社里約熱內盧16日綜合外電報導）烏克蘭選手維爾尼亞伊夫（Oleg Verniaiev）今天在里約奧運體操男子雙槓項目拿下金牌。大陸男子體操選手這次在里約奧運金牌掛零。
22歲的維爾尼亞伊夫以16.041分奪金，美國選手雷瓦（Danell Leyva）以15.900分鍍銀，俄羅斯選手貝爾雅夫斯基（David Belyavskiy）以15.783分摘銅。
中國大陸選手鄧書弟以15.766分排名第四，同胞尤浩以14.833分排名第八。
這是2004年以來中國大陸選手首度未在這個項目贏得金牌，意味大陸男子體操選手這次在里約奧運金牌掛零。
維爾尼亞伊夫10日在男子全能項目僅以0.099分差距敗給27歲的日本體操巨星內村航平，獲得銀牌。1050817
